My Beautiful Hair Boutique Wig

The cap has a firm silicone lining inside, which makes it incredibly secure on my head. It has a snug, supportive fit that really holds on, without feeling uncomfortable or tight. It's the closest thing I've ever felt to how my old Freedom wigs used to feel (if you've never heard of them, they're those vacuum/suction full silicone cap wigs - a bit hectic, but the snug, firm fit was nice, haha).

The hair quality is stunning, super soft, smooth and easy to style. And the density is honestly perfection for me. It is not heavy at all and has a sleek profile, which means I can tuck it behind my ears easily without it looking bulky or puffed up anywhere. It sits very flat and natural against the head. And that's without any thinning or anything yet!

One important thing to be aware of is that BHB does not bleach the knots at the front hairline as standard, which is something to be aware of, as a lot of brands do, and you might not be expecting unbleached knots. That said, the knots are small, and especially on lighter colours, they are quite subtle and hard to see. If bleached knots are important to you, you can absolutely request this. It is something they are more than happy to do, especially when you are purchasing in-store.

The biggest standout with BHB is the in-person, all-inclusive experience.

They have beautiful stores in Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast, where you can try on different caps, colours, lengths and styles, and have everything customised with their in-house stylists. This is ideal if you want to see and feel the hair before committing, or if you have struggled in the past to find the right fit.

Their team specialises in hair loss, so the environment feels calm, supportive and genuinely understanding. You are not rushed, and you are not expected to know what you want when you walk in. They help you figure it out.

While they do sell online and ship worldwide, their main focus is on creating a personalised in-store experience, which is an incredible option if you are close enough to visit them.

How to Shop BHB

The best way to shop with BHB is in person, if you are able to. Their studios are located in Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast, and the in-store experience is where they really shine.

You can book a consultation, try on different pieces, and have your wig personalised, cut and styled before you leave. It takes so much of the guesswork out of wig shopping.

If you are not based in Australia, they do sell online and ship worldwide, and offer virtual consults to guide you through the process.
